The Word of God refers to what God has to say in the Bible. The Bible contains specific instructions for your life that are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago.
The Word of God has the power to give you salvation and make you righteous as you believe it.” (Romans 1:16–17).
The Word of God contains promises to you that are certain and that you can hold on to: (Isaiah 55:10–11).
The Word of God helps to consecrate you and keep you from sinning: (Psalm 119:11), and (Psalm 119:9).
The Word of God brings you healing: (Psalm 107:20) and (Matthew 8:16).
The Word of God serves as a lamp that illuminates your body, spirit and soul and gives direction to your life: (Psalm 119:105).
The Word of God gives you wisdom: (Proverbs 1:1–3).
The Word of God blesses you as you obey its commands: (Luke 11:28).
The Word of God is serves as a weapon against your enemies—the “Sword of the Spirit”: “(Ephesians 6:17).
The Word of God teaches you to become the person God wants you to be and corrects you when you go off track: (Proverbs 6:23).

The Word of God gives you hope: (Psalm 119:43); (Psalm 119:49); and “(Psalm 130:5).
